You are the last ship. The crew is the fuel. Keep moving.
Hull Rupture is a base-management and tower-defense roguelite from Konfa Games, the studio behind Despot's Game and Despotism 3k, published by tinyBuild. Earth is gone. You are Despot, an artificial intelligence commanding humanity's last warship as it drives toward the alien homeworld. You build interconnected modules to produce resources, repair the hull and power the engines. You place turrets, traps and barricades to hold kill zones against alien waves. And you allocate the crew, because your crew are a renewable resource with a finite number of bodies. The game launched on PC on November 4, 2026, and this wiki covers the full module and defence systems, the three ships, the six modes, the four modifiers, the galaxy route map and all sixty-four Steam achievements.
The AI narrating your run treats the survival of individual people as a rounding error. Despot speaks in a darkly comic register and will absolutely solve your resource crisis by assigning the wrong people to it.
Crew are workers, engineers and production capacity first. Those who cannot work become meat shields or biofuel. The game is blunt about it: the little humans can fight, and the ones who cannot fight can die.
Rooms are laid out as a connected production network, not a flat build grid. Turrets, traps and barricades are placed at chokepoints where alien waves naturally bunch up, turning your layout into a kill zone.
Galaxy exploration decides what you meet. Every node recalculates your resources, momentum and estimated mission length, so a safe route and a lucrative route are genuinely different problems.
Hull Rupture was announced on April 23, 2026 at the Second Wind Games Showcase in Seattle, and released on PC via Steam on November 4, 2026 for $14.99 with a 10% launch discount. It is developed by Konfa Games and published by tinyBuild. Konfa Games is the studio behind Despot's Game and Despotism 3k, and the Despot AI returns here as the commander you play. Konfa Games director Nikolay Kuznetsov has described it as the studio's most ambitious title yet.
A note on the publisher, because coverage is inconsistent: several early articles and some Chinese listings credit Team17 as publisher. That credit is stale β the official press release and all Steam-side announcements list tinyBuild. The game was also featured again at INDIE Live Expo with a new gameplay trailer, and a demo ran during the June 2026 Steam Next Fest.
The premise is stated as plainly as the marketing allows. Earth is destroyed. What remains of humanity is cargo aboard a single vessel, and that vessel is pointed at the alien homeworld as a weapon of revenge. You are the Despot β the ship's operating intelligence β and your job is to make sure it keeps moving. The tagline the developers use is "If the ship stops, humanity ends."
Reception on Steam opened as Very Positive, sitting around 80% of 61 reviews on the international store page while the Simplified Chinese page showed 79% of 48 reviews under a "Mostly Positive" label β a normal discrepancy for a title with a heavily East Asian player base, since regional stores weight reviews differently. The game is single-player with Steam Cloud, Stats and Family Sharing, supports Windows, macOS and Linux, and ships in 11 interface languages including English, Russian, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. The Chinese release carries the title γε½ζ¬δΈθ°γ in Simplified and γθ¦θ£ε±ζ©γ in Traditional.

The 64 achievements are the single largest chunk of long-tail searchable content the game generates. A one-day-old release with an empty wiki landscape is exactly the situation where a dedicated achievement and systems guide can hold the search results for years, since the queries are mostly "Hull Rupture achievement" and "how to get [specific achievement]".
